ABOUT OLIVIA’S ART

My small business is called OLIVIA’S ART.
It has two parts:
1. I create, exhibit and sell my own artwork.
2. I teach visual art to children and adults.

SERVICES

Olivia Lancaster

I am a registered primary school teacher and have taught in Western Australian schools for many years. After moving to Margaret River in January 2007 I decided to live here permanently. I then worked on starting my own small business creating and teaching visual art. I am now living in a place that I love and doing what I love best.

Visual Artist

I am an artist. I have always been interested in art and have been inspired by nature all of my life. I started drawing as a very young child growing up on an isolated farm. Throughout my life I have taken every opportunity to develop my art skills. I have had numerous art exhibitions since moving to Margaret River. I am a member of Margaret River Region Open Studios and have been a participant for the last seven years. I am also a photographer and use my photographs as reference pictures for my paintings.

I will be participating in (MRROS) Margaret River Open Studios from September 9 until September 24, 2023.

Visual Art Teacher

As well as teaching all year levels of children from kindergarten to year seven, I have been an art specialist and library teacher in schools. I now teach children in small groups or individually at my art studio in Brookfield, Margaret River. I also enjoy teaching adults beginning drawing. I have experience using a number of mediums including acrylics, pastels, watercolours, graphite pencils, colour pencils and others.
